"We ask that the Office of the Executive Secretary advocates for Virginia attorneys who serve as magistrates by submitting a written comment in opposition to the Virginia State Bar's Bench Bar Relations Committee's proposal that Virginia magistrates be removed from judicial class eligibility, Virginia State Bar - News - VSB Seeks Comments on proposed amendments to Supreme Court Rules defining judicial class members, by the September 16, 2022 deadline. The Virginia State Bar states, "any individual, business, or other entity may submit written comments in support of or in opposition to the proposed opinion with Cameron M. Rountree, interim executive director of the Virginia State Bar, not later than September 16, 2022. Comments may be submitted via email to publiccomment@vsb.org."
