Nominations for 2026-2028 VMA Executive Board positions (President, 1st and 2nd VP, Treasurer and Secretary) are OPEN. Go to https://www.vamagistrate.org/vma-executive-board-application to nominate yourself or someone you know would serve the VMA members with dedication and respect. All nominees must be current VMA members. To join the VMA, go to https://www.vamagistrate.org/membership. Nominations are from September 1, 2025 to September 30, 2025. The Election will be from October 2, 2025 - October 31, 2025.
All nominees will need to confirm their intention to run and serve to be put on the ballot.

The VMA - Virginia Magistrates brochure was featured at the VMA table at the 2024 Annual Conference (front page featured at left). The brochure includes information about the main types of hearings magistrates conduct, geographical authority, who we are, organizational structure, and magistrate qualifications.
Purpose of the brochure=to EDUCATE people about magistrates. This purpose is a core VMA mission...EDUCATION.
